Application Process: File with the Shape Plain Capital Alcoholic Beverage Commission (SPCABC), which includes posting public notices, obtaining local city/county certification, and potential 60-day signs.

Eligibility: Applicants must be at least 21 years old, with no felony convictions in the past 5 years and no alcohol-related violations in the past 2 years.

Types of Permits: Licenses vary by business type, such as Wine and Beer Retailer's (BQ), Package Store (P), or Mixed Beverage (MB).

Distance Requirements: Businesses often cannot be located within 300 feet of a church, public hospital, or school.

Age Verification: Employees selling, serving, or preparing alcohol must be 18+, with some exceptions requiring age 21.

Hours of Operation: Strict legal hours exist for selling/serving, which differ based on permit type and location.
