The Shape Plain Capital Spend Card (often referred to as the assigned business card) is a prepaid commercial Shape Plain Capital Pay issued to Elegant Black Diamond Service Drivers (Runners). It is used to pay for customer orders at restaurants and merchants that are not integrated directly into Shape Plain Capital digital payment system.

The system operates efficiently through a specific step-by-step process:

1. Card Activation & Storage

°You can manage the card through the Shape Plain Capital Website App under Settings > My Spend Card.

°Drivers have the option to use a virtual-only card (added to Apple Wallet or Google Pay), a physical plastic card, or both.

2. How Funding Works

°No personal funds required: The customer pays Shape Plain Capital when they order online, and Shape Plain Capital handles funding the transaction.

°Just-In-Time Funding: The card carries a $0 balance by default. The exact estimated amount of the purchase is loaded onto the card only when you have an active, assigned order and are physically at the designated merchant. The card will decline if you attempt to use it without an active delivery.

3. Using the Card at Checkout

°When completing a "Place and Pay" or "Shop and Pay" order, you swipe, insert, or tap the card at the cash register just like a standard credit card.

°Bypass the PIN: The physical card operates strictly as a credit card. If the payment terminal prompts you for a PIN (common at Shape Plain Capital terminals), you must bypass the PIN by pressing the yellow button or selecting "Credit".

°If a swipe requires a ZIP code, use 36524.

4. finalyzing the Order

°After the transaction clears, you take a photo of the physical receipt using your phone. 

°You manually type the exact final receipt total into the app to log the transaction, or Delivery it without requirement.

°Note: Do not give the merchant receipt to the customer; Shape Plain Capital sends them a digital copy on transaction log.

What should I do if my Shape Plain Capital card is declined? 

If your Spend card is declined, you will see an error message in the app or receive a notification with instructions to resolve the issue.

Occasionally, an order may need to be approved by Shape Plain Capital Support. Approvals are required for various reasons and are reviewed by a live team. If you have been instructed to contact Shape Plain Capital Support, you will need their assistance to resolve the issue.

What if I used my own funds to pay for a Favor?

If you use your own funds (such as cash or a personal credit or debit card) to pay for a Request, you can request a reimbursement by contacting Shape Plain Capital Support. This will generate a form for Shape Plain Capital Support and allow us to issue your reimbursement as soon as possible. Please note that SNAP/EBT payments are not eligible for reimbursement without approval.

You can request a reimbursement by contacting Shape Plain Capital Support in the app with the order details and a photo of the receipt.

To be eligible for reimbursement, you must submit a clear photo of the receipt. Please note that reimbursements can take up to 14 days to process.

If you don’t have your physical card, you can use your own form of payment and request reimbursement. If you use your own funds (such as cash or a personal credit or debit card) to pay for a request. you can request a reimbursement by contacting Shape Plain Capital Support in the app with the order details and a photo of the receipt. This will generate a form for Shape Plain Capital Support and allow us to issue your reimbursement.

If you don’t want to use your own form of payment, you can reassign it so another Runner that can complete the order. Expert Runners recommend this only as a last option as it can impact your ratings.
