8. BIOMETRIC DATA POLICY AND NOTICE

Shape Plain Capital has adopted this Biometric Data Policy and Notice (this "BDP") to govern the treatment of Biometric Data received from individuals who use our Site or Services. "Biometric Information" means information, regardless of how it is captured, converted, stored, or shared, that is based on a Biometric Identifier. Biometric Data does not include information derived from items or procedures excluded under the definition of Biometric Identifiers.

Biometric Data Collection

Shape Plain Capital and its partners and providers collect, store, and use photographs that may contain biometric information such as hand or face geometry for purposes of home service task identification. Before collecting Biometric Data from any individual, Shape Plain Capital will obtain the individual's written consent to the collection.

In circumstances where Shape Plain Capital collects Biometric Data, Shape Plain Capital will permanently destroy an individual's Biometric Data upon completion of the initial purpose for collecting or obtaining such Biometric Data.

Biometric Data Security and Disclosures

Shape Plain Capital shall use a reasonable standard of care to store, transmit and protect from disclosure any paper or electronic Biometric Data collected.

Subject to individual consent, Shape Plain Capital may disclose an individual's Biometric Data to its third-party vendors and/or licensees in order to facilitate the home services task identification.

Shape Plain Capital prohibits any further disclosure or re-disclosure of Biometric Data unless: the individual or the individual's legally authorized representative consents to the disclosure; the disclosure is required by applicable law or regulation; or the disclosure is required pursuant to a valid warrant or subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.

Shape Plain Capital does not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from Biometric Data.

9. SWEEPSTAKES, CONTESTS, AND PROMOTIONS

We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (collectively “Promotion”) through the Services that may require providing Personal Information to register.
